Definitely going to be a complete adaptation given the length and the fact that the manga finished publishing last year.
I look forward to this as I read the manga. Hope they get a good director for this.

I hope that's the case. I can't remember the last time I watched a romance anime that was adapted from a manga get fully completed. Usually the anime would cover a portion of the manga and then you'd have to go read what happens in the manga later.

I can't be the only one that noticed the Kodansha US licensing the manga and how that is corelated to that manga getting an anime, the example list keeps getting bigger now.
Maybe this can get a complete adaptation, those are very rare for romance adaptations.

Where is the length of the adaptation indicated?

Not the length of the adaptation but the length of the source material manga. A complete story of 48 chapters, given this it's logical to assume it would be a complete adaptation.

Happy with this news. When KUSA licensed it for digital only, thought it wouldn't be a story I'd end up experiencing. Icing would be for the manga to get a print run.

Dessert is a Shoujo magazine and so is this manga. It´s also mostly a (melo)drama. Jokes are there but it wouldn´t advertise it as a comedy.
The overall series was good enough that i wrote a MU review but good god was it incompetent and forced in parts.
