Ugh you can really notice the difference in character designes and sadly its for the worse.... :/

I think they look relatively fine actually. I get where you're coming from, but I kinda thought it'd be worse. I can live with this.

I agree, the color pallet is certainly softer but everyone looks fine and on model. Hotaru's hair is a darker shade but that's really it.

The artwork looks slightly different, but I'm not put off by the change.

IMO it looks okay. I thought it could've been worse.
I wonder if the story is still set in the same summer. I wonder if we'll get a new ongoing plot.

Man, I'm not gonna lie, but these new designs are throwin me off a bit. Excited for season 2 nonetheless.

While there is no doubt there is a change of style due to the change in studios, the video teaser does comfort me somewhat that the artwork isn't as bad as the character sheet previews make it out to be.

The funny thing is (and i do think its awful,but can also live with it) when they showed a fan service scene (when they did a close up on the boobage) it looked marginally better. So you can tell where their priorities were.

When Hotaru slid that door open, a voice in my head popped up yelling "ZEXAL!". Anyway, comparing this to the 1st seasons promo, and you can see the difference.

I wasn't sure if this would get another season but I'm happy that it is.
This is the only slice of life anime I enjoyed enough to fave.
