Hype... I know this is wishful thinking but I badly wish those 5 arcs will span into at least 300+ chapters... which will lead into a remake of the TV series adapting the whole story

I think Shueisha confirmed it will be divided in multiple parts

Time to see if Watsuki can recapture the lighting he once caught in his bottle. Hopefully this will be less of a bumpy quality ride then say Dragon Ball Super.

One plus is that Watsuki isn't providing any "manuscripts", this is all coming straight from the source. His own brand new manga content.

Hyped as well, had no idea this was coming. Now to find a place where I can read those two preview chapters...
I had seen a couple of redone Kenshin volumes at my local (lol, more like an hour and a half away by public transit but 2 blocks from my parents's new building in Flushing) anime store, but they were sealed and I didn't have a way of seeing what was inside without buying it. They looked like it was Watsuki redoing the beginning of Kenshin or something, but the art style looked a little different and the books were way thinner. Anyone know what that was all about?
I collected all 28 Volumes of Kenshin (the first manga I ever had the complete collection for, thank you anime store near my university in Rochester and Barnes and Noble sales), so I'm super hype for this follow up as well. Can't wait to see all the characters again. Knowing Watsuki, it'll be good too.

Isn't wishful, is impossible lol JumpSQ is a monthly magazine, which means 12 chapter per year excluding some possible absences, 300 chapters means almost 30 years of serialization

I think the story's quality will be fine because Watsuki had the Hokkaido Arc's plot at least outlined 19 years ago. He's finally following through on what he said he wanted to do. Sugoi!
