10 chapters on the dot, damn I thought he'd at least squeeze out 2 more oh well. At least he's not planning on doing another 2 years tho(for now), so that's a good sign at least. My guess is he'll return around mid December.

One of these days, someone's gonna break into Togashi's house and he's gonna say "What do you want!? Please take all the money! Just don't hurt me!" But instead, the assailant is just going to hold him at gunpoint (Knifepoint since it's Japan?) and say "YOU'RE GONNA KEEP MAKING CHAPTERS OF HUNTER X HUNTER!"
I'm sure the criminal would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. |

Togashi is no sick old man. He's 51 years old! He got several times ill or sick, like lots of mangaka, but the comment was absolutely not "disgusting". |

Well he released more chapters than Miura with Berserk (4 chapters over 4 months). And that is also taking a hiatus until later this year.

less so when we know he refuses to take any on any help. Really he should have just ended hxh and started on a new manga. The new arc might as well just be a completely different series anyway. It reminds me of yyh, after the dark tournament it felt like a completely different series, and he gave up soon after that because he was bored/lost interest. He's clearly never going to finish this series in a way that will satisfy his fans, he'll either rush and cancel it like yyh or die on one of these year long hiatuses due to his mysterious illness. |

And there it is. I was waiting for this to happen each week after DQ XI released and especially when all those DQ games released this month. I'm proud of Togashi for fighting the urge to play DQ for 1 month, but we all knew it wouldn't last. Whether he actually comes back before the end of the year...well, I'll believe it when I see it. lol
