It seems that God has decided to smite our world into oblivion with this stage play

Well, at least it won't have crazy camera angles and crazy rendering and stuff. Hopefully noone in the audience throws up this time.

If it flops, that's a good thing here, right?

Ahhh, maybe this version will be about a young team of heroes who activate superpowers by shaking hands?

What is it with Japan's obsession with stage plays and live action adaptations?

The same thing that's with Disney on Ice and the bucketfuls of money that the Beauty and the Beast live action version made this year, presumably. Or the UK and panto.

I foresee it will be a stage performance like any other, but with a hotchpotch of clashing CG models superimposed via a projector. (At this point, any sensible digital design choices would come as a disappointment to the audience.)

Yes, visually speaking, a stage play stands to be an improvement. I suppose they could take this opportunity to rework the story into something decent, but considering what they have to work with, I can't say that this seems like a good idea.

You've got to be joking... the anime was bad enough, and now they're making a STAGE PLAY?!?! Hopefully, they find actors who can actually make the characters interesting, or else this will be just as bad as the anime, if not worse

Is there some billionaire secretly sponsoring this franchise? Like who is this for? The show bombed so hard! I'd be surprised if its fanbase numbered in the dozens.

Dude, the comments in an article are often the best part. This is especially the case when there are those that have asinine views and those that have views insightful views.
