What? Condolences to the family. He was a good actor and would have loved to see him in edge of tomorrow 2 (not officially announced but in planning phase)

I liked him in Twister. 61 is also too young. So many celebrities dying before they should!!

Very unfortunate. I hope his family and friends can get through this. Thank you for having an impact on our child/adulthood.
RIP

Gone too soon. Was just watching a 'Edge of Tomorrow' with mom a few weeks ago. And we got into one of these "is that?" "That's not..." conversations when identifying an actor. And I had told her that it was Bill Paxton. And she was like "no" and then she saw it was. She then talked about how much she liked 'Bill Paxton'. Today I called my mother and told her and she said she had heard. "I always liked Bill Paxton", she stated. Though I really don't know why or how she got to know or like 'Bill Paxton'. But I guess, from the films that we've watched in the past she's always noticed him and liked him as an actor. Yes, my mom like sci-fi movies too. Alien and Aliens being her favorite films.
I'm really sad to hear this. He was a great actor. We already put up two displays in the library. One for 'Seijun Suzuki' and one for 'Bill Paxton'.
We'll miss you Bill and we'll never forget all the great films you starred in. R.I.P.

I was really sorry to hear this. I liked him in a lot of stuff, but some of my favourite roles of his were in the vampire flick Near Dark and as a sleazy car salesman in True Lies. I am curious as to what kind of surgery he was having that proved fatal.
