My only concern is if Netflix will wait for months after until the series finishes airing in Japan before streaming it because wow would that be annoying.

Given Netflix's track record, they'll probably release it when it finishes.

Awesome! January 8 is a lot sooner than I expected for the premiere of one of my most anticipated 2017 Anime series.

Given Netflix's track record, they'll probably release it when it finishes. |
They do release some series weekly, so it's not like they are forced to do otherwise.

Since Netflix got this I have to commit the taboo of using illegal websites like KissAnime. No way my patience will last the entire season

Only in non-US territories, and in Japan they'll probably release LWA weekly as well, but globally it'll probably be binge-or-bust.
