Even though I would personally go with Dark Souls 3, Overwatch is my 2nd favorite game of the year so I'm perfectly happy with it taking the award.
Also good for Kojima, he deserves it after that ridiculous debacle.

I knew SFV would win regardless of the casuals launch controversy.
KOF didn't stood a chance because of the graphics imo...
But as for the others, glad they won. Even Overwatch, a game I don't like because I despise shooters in general and I am no good at multiplayer games.

I'm super-stoked that Pokémon GO was among the three winners of The Game Awards! Despite the many problems the title had, catching Pokémon out in real time was quite a fun challenge. I can't wait for the Generation II Pokémon to appear!

When Pokemon GO beats actual Pokemon games, you know an award show is doomed. And why the heck do they lump mobile and handheld gaming together? There is a clear difference between something like Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter and mobilejunk.

Oh that was most definitely not the reason KOF lost, it lost because outside of certain territories namely the US it has next to no recognition.
