The story should be about the lack of Monster Hunter Stories. Dragon Ball Super's lead-in didn't even chart in its premiere.

Good start for TB 24.
So....not even the long awaited final battle between Dattebayo-kun and Emo-kun could make it into the top 10. lol

Awesome that Time Bokan 24 has landed in the Top 5 for its first run.

It probablly made the top spot because the Time Bokan series is popular in japan.
The first one was full of characters from different Tstsunoko Production anime, just there alternate realitty counerparts.

Time Bokan 24 started off good, but it didn't seem to do as well as Ace Attorney's debut half a year ago. Maybe though, since Time Bokan is a popular franchise, maybe it will average out better than Ace Attorney did? Noticeably, Detective Conan actually did a lot better than the last couple of weeks. Maybe having a show beforehand could affect Conan's success?
Speaking of which, Monster Hunter Stories failed to make the Top 10, despite airing just before Dragon Ball Super and One Piece. Not only that, but it did lower than 2.7%, which cannot be a good sign for Fuji TV's extended anime morning block. Unlike with Ace Attorney/Conan, it didn't look like MH Stories hurt DB Super that bad though.
Also, that two-parter with Naruto: Shippuden didn't even make the Top 10 either. People worried should at least be glad that it hadn't crashed to Bleach levels yet. According to reports, it got as low as 1% towards the end of it's run; and TV Tokyo is pretty damn lenient towards low ratings, judging how the Yu-Gi-Oh series is still on the air. (Though merchandising may play a part in that)
Wow, I had a mouthful this week.
