Hearing Ai Orikasa's voice again is so nostalgic! It's strange to see the cast digitally animated, though I guess this wouldn't be the first time.

I want to re-watch Tenchi Muyo!, thankfully it is coming out on Blu-Ray.
It is strange how different this looks to the 3rd season, which looked more like seasons 1 and 2, even though both are digital paint. |

Man nice hearing Ryoko voice again every year i always re watch the Tenchi series, following forums just for news finally getting ova 4. plus my favorite girl of all time Ryoko is back. I even tell my girl my first crush was Ryoko she always laugh at me for that but i still state it without shame. lol welcome back Tenchi

I always watched it dubbed, but with all the happy nostalgia for the sub, and with the knowledge that Tenchi's dub isn't actually good (despite being way better than most dubs of its time), I'll probably rewatch the series in Japanese at my earliest convenience.

It almost seems to indicate Ryoko may yet rise as the main girl again--but with Kajishima remaining as the showrunner that may well be misleading. Still anticipating an actual trailer with actual footage hopefully soon...

Great to see them promoting the characters in order of importance (I expect a Ryo-oh-ki promo next).
BTW the computer I'm typing this on is named Ryoko, my work machine is Ryo-oh-ki. Currently I have printers called Washu and Ayeka (did have Sasami but she got retired). |

I hope they add more excitement into the series, it hasn't been much more than slice-of-life since tv series last aired.
Woman who did Ryoka's voice...is it me or she sounds older than character suppose to be? |

Just how old do you think Ryoko is supposed to be? I'm not sure of the exact number but it is close to 1000 years. It was over 500 years she was imprisoned in the cave. At one point in the first OVA Ayeka (who is no spring chicken herself) taunts Ryoko about being much too old for Tenchi. |

Ryoko is 5,000 plus years old. Aeka and Sasami are 700 ie the trope, but technically they were in suspension for a while. And Washu is 20,000 years old in her current "mortal" body, she is of course ageless as a Chousin. |

Well, good excuse to re-watch the first two OVAs again, don't think I've done so since the BDs have come out, so far too long at this point. Guess I should re-watch the third then too. I'm trying to keep my hopes tempered to avoid disappointment, but I really do hope this 4th OVA is great.
