Lol, I haven't watched any Kuromukuro since episode 11 I think but I like these kinds of things. It's kind of like breaking the 4th wall which is something I've always liked in anime and TV shows.

I suppose pirates don't mind with this spoiler, but some of us are still waiting for the legal streaming of the second part of Kuromukuro.
I am not mad, but ANN be mindful of spoilers. |

I loved the first half of Kuromukuro but the legal licensors won this battle; I'm too damn lazy to download the fansubs/Japanese Netflix release with English subs every week, copy it onto a flashdrive, and connect that flashdrive to my Roku 3 so I can watch it on my TV. So I haven't seen this ep yet and glad this article didn't spoil it at all (just knowing the P.A. Works studio was destroyed doesn't reveal anything significant about the plot of a series that features property damage in nearly every episode).
I wish they would figure out how they want the series' aliens' names Romanized, though. I think I saw it spelled at least 3 different ways in Netflix's official subs. Is "Efy Dolgh" official? I'm sure it's also been "Efy Dorgu" at some point. Wonder how they'll pronounce it if/when they dub it. |

That seems like an awful lot of work for pirating Why don't you just watch it online? |

First off, if you happen to rip anime from your collection onto your PC, you can stream to your device easily using Plex. No real work needed at all. Second, NETFLIX USA subtitles officially spell it "Efi Dorg", so ANN should at the very least use that spelling. I only skimmed a few scenes on the US Netflix, in like 3 different episodes and they all used Efi Dorg |

It's not a spoiler, though. It was just a random throwaway shot of the building being destroyed. |

I saw one more picture on twitter about how there's now a tarp on the roof.

Because illegal streaming sites are garbage quality, profit from ad revenue, their existence sucks money away from the actual rights holders by competing directly with them and they shouldn't be used under any circumstances? |

*or watch on the computer, I should have been more specific Since this person admitted to downloading fansubs I still count it as piracy and not such a far stretch from illegal streaming. I'd still like to argue that streaming sites bring attention to the shows in the first place, I certainly won't buy something I've never seen, and there are still a lot of shows left out by legal streaming sites that I otherwise would not be interested in and some subscriptions like Netflix that I can't afford to pay. If not for these sites there would be a lot less anime fans to buy the merchandise in the first place. Not that I condone everythig they do, but they serve a purpose, I just wish there was a way to direct people towards the legal sites when the show they're interested in is easily accessible. |

It's great to see that a studio has a sense of humor and will even continue on with the gag.

The way the headline is, I think that clearly indicates there would be spoilers. If you don't want to be spoiled, don't read the article. Whereas there are people who hate spoilers, I am the opposite. I want to know how a movie/series ends (that interests) me, especially for shipping purposes. |

Just going to note, this is by far not the first anime studio to 'destroy' their own studio within an anime they produce.
Artland and other contracting studios repeatedly wrecked their offices in the Macross TV series and again in the movie. AIC likewise wrecked their building in more than one of their OAV projects. And I am sure Gainax has to have wrecked their building at least once. Even before that, Warner Brother Animation destroyed their 'Termite Terrace' offices in at least one of their old shorts. The idea of animating the destruction of your studio is probably just a fun way to relieve stress for animators. Whether any of them went to lengths to put up real-world signs or anything seems doubtful. |

That's pretty funny. However, I'm saddened to learn that Pony Canyon has the home video rights. I've been totally ready to give them my monies for this since like episode 3, but not to PonyCan. Why won't they fold already?

Why so difficult? Just hook up your PC to your TV (I got it hook up to my sound system) with an HDMI kabel. |
