Not really interested in the comedy shorts but I am for the movie. This is an oddly obscure property to get an anime but it seems cool. I need to get back to the game at some point.

i'd prefer almost any other rpg maker game to get an anime (ib! yume nikki! come on!) but i mean, wow anyway

I guess some production committee is trying to fill the vacuum left by Corpse Party.

Two live-action movies, apparently. It looks pretty generic for the genre, and my initial research turned up that a number of things I was able to guess just by looking at the character profiles here pan out in pretty much the way I expected. Gonna give this one a miss.

Two live-action movies! Got damn. I just thought Aoi Oni was just some random, low budget indie video game. I'm kinda curious now. But yeah, I'm not watching this anime.

It still is, it's just that in Japan it's super easy to get things merchandised. Tons of random RPG maker games have novelizations, for example.
