It seems that Pikachu will always be in love with the Ketchup bottle.  This music video of it and its affection for ketchup is just too adorable to resist.

Where does the world "pikatsu" come in regarding ketchup anyway?

Considering it's just "Pikachu" over and over again, part of it comes out as "kachupi" or "ketchup".
It's funny this became such a trait for Pikachu. Almost one thousand episodes and Pikachu has eaten ketchup in less than ten of them. I guess when the only other thing he does is look cool using Thunderbolt and Volt Tackle, it sticks out.

well it seems the ketchup gave pikachu energy for the next episode intese battle since it looks like he will kick pokemon with no mercy

In later parts of it, there's actual lyric "translations" under Pikachu's lines. Also, I've never seen a Toei OP/ED without the lyrics on screen, regardless of what "language" they're in, so it's probably a standard thing.

When was the last time Jigglypuff appeared? Things can stick around for decades if they're setup in a show's formative period.

It's last appearance was in one episode of the Advanced Generation season. So yes...very long time Jigglypuff had ever showed up.

Very begginning of AG if we're talking exclusively the series, but if we include OPs and EDs then the 4th ending to Best Wishes had a Purin cameo. The series constantly has cameos and references in the OPs and EDs, like shots of all of Satoshi's Pokemon back home or previous travelling companions. An ED about Pikachu and Ketchup isn't out of the ordinary for the franchise, though he did eat ketchup in XY.

if this ketchup is the energy drink which is why he will defeat many of alan pokemon i wont mind he will eat more ketchup next episode
