Not much of a fan of the song but it's not intolerable or anything, just kind of amateurish and a far cry from say Faye Wong. Not sure why a Final Fantasy game needs lyrics in an opening theme now but just gotta consider the era and that Sony seems to be producing the music. For a moment there I thought it said Hiroyuki Sawano was composing the song and I was like "you've gotta be f'ing kidding me" since I actually am interested in the game and just can't stand the guy anymore especially since he's everywhere with that generic loud sound and garbled lyrics gimmick of his. He'd be an awful fit.
