Too bad these feature Niel Nadlman's laserdisc subs where he punched them up by adding Alien movie references 42:06 "Your in the pipe" 59:25 "five by five" and silly dialogue 41:39 "Get caught with your pants down" At 1:34:54 Brights subs are "What?! Jesus, he's on a kamikaze run!" ... And calling the Federation "Feddies" ... Gonna hold onto my DVDs from Rightstuf since their release appears to be more faithful to the Japanese dialogue.

I'm a bit disappointed that they're using the 20th Anniversary release with the re-recorded audio and dialog instead of the original theatrical release. All of the sound effects are off along with pieces of missing music.

I've been wanting a chance to catch up on OG Gundam for a while so I can actually know what's going on in the UC timeline, but people have told me the full series is unnecessarily long-winded and that the movie trilogy is better.

As amused as I am that Sunrise and Bandai seem to have used the old uncorrected Anime Village scripts we did nearly twenty years ago, you do realize that the Right Stuf releases are still about 95% the same scripts, right?
Also, the Feddie thing first showed up in Sunrise approved English language sources. I didn't make it up; I only decided to use it for flavor.
