I'm kinda sad that Michael Lindsey isn't reprising his role, (Doesn't he still voice Kankuro in Naruto?) but Robbie Daymond is a pretty good actor with a lot of promise, so I'm not too worried.

Nah, after Michael Lindsey retired in 2012, Doug Erholtz replaced him as both Kankuro and Urahara in Bleach. |

Nice! I can definitely appreciate that they are clearly going out of their way to get as much of the original cast back as possible! Even if you have complaints with Adventure's dub script aside, the voices were still pitch perfect imo. And I knew Philece Sampler was still doing stuff! I still remember being excited when I saw her show as old Toph and be awesome.
Shame about Michael Lindsay, but it seems like there was nothing they could do there but recast. At least Joshua Seth, though also retired, has stated that he would want to return as Tai, so they'd better ask him, dammit! |

Guess they'll have to get the guy who voiced him in Data Squad and Fusion. |

Really happy that more of the original VAs are coming back. Tai would be the real clincher though, since a lot of people, including me, want Joshua Seth to reprise the role.
I really love Robbie Daymond, his performances as Sorey from Tales of Zesteria and as Gilthunder from Seven Deadly Sins really won me over. So it's nice to see him get more roles. Can't wait to hear him as Joe.
They've said that apart from the dub names, they're going to stick to the original script. So no worries. I disagree with the notion that the original dub was a gag dub though, at least 100% a gag dub. They did add a lot of jokes (and a lot of them are cheesy and/or badly placed) and some misinformation (which was more prominent in the first few episodes), but overall the dub didn't change much from the original. Of course my definition of "gag dub" includes anime like Ghost Stories and Samurai Pizza Cats. |
