I'm still not OK over the spoilers from the recent volume. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Sniff...why.

so it's ending! I hope to see a full adaption from Arakawa too & to see a full anime adaption for it since I'm not a novel person xD

Is the story developed long enough to be able to finish satisfactorily in one volume or will we be looking at an abrupt ending?

It's one of those things where I hate endings but I'm glad it's ending. Too many series go on forever. Now there's hope that it might actually have an anime adaptation show the ending. There's hope that I might actually be able to know how the series ends at least.

Anime only adapted up to the end of vol. 5 or so of the novels. And S2 will go up to the end of vol. 7 at best.

Wow this guys is busy. Well, good to see a long running series coming to a (hopefully) proper ending. Hopefully the anime can run long enough to reach it.
