Hope they go back to the drawing board, this IP deserves better than that horrible TV series it got. Good luck to him!

Total bummer this Kickstarter didn't make it. I have a feeling that this one-minute panorama, as well as, perhaps, insufficient advertising was what led to its failure.
Judging from this part of the comment...

...it seems that Mr. Sasahara-san has no intention of shutting down Dai-Shōgun yet, so I think there's still some hope for this show left.

Yes, he seems very dedicated to this project. While I did find the premise of the show intriguing, along with the gargantuan fan service that we received, it would be interesting to see what a 3D version would be like. Hopefully we see more of trying to revive this soon.

With you on that, I only heard about it within the last week. I almost always let crowdfunding get some traction and pledge in the finale week. Though I'm in no ruhs to support 3D/VR stuff.

Had you actually showed us nipples in the anime then this would have been funded. The people won't be deceived again.

It's a shame that the Kickstarter campaign didn't get funded. It's probably because there were campaigns for Riding Bean, Escaflowne, and Skip Beat! all at the same time.

And the fact the TV series was really bad.
Seriously, i don't know why that guy wanted to waste his and other people money on funding something that failed on TV? This is a textbook case of "unrealistic expectations", when someone tries to sell something who no one wants.
