I'm really hoping it's an AoT type of deal where Funi actually holds the license and CR is sublicensing it. Otherwise, Funi has practically nothing of note left to license. |

YES! Thank-god. Next to My Hero Academia this is what I was really anticipating. Since Funi took MHA I won't be watching it, so glad that CR got this now I can watch it in peace lol.

Doesn't matter how cool they try to make it look & sound, Bungo will only mean this to me.

Spring 2016: Crunchyroll's Revenge. After some disappointing seasonal lineups last year, they're fighting back in a big way this time around. So with all of CR's pickups so far, with I'm Sakamoto and Hai-Furi already licensed by Sentai and Aniplex, respectively, and with Mayoiga and Kuromukuro possibly going to Pony Canyon, it looks like the juiciest fruits possibly left for Funi at this point are Phoenix Wright and Bakuon. Even if they did get both of those, though (and I hope they don't because I wanted to watch both of those), this is still shaping up as their worst season in quite some time. |

I'm sure they tried very hard to get Kabaneri. Maybe they still hold the Home Video license for that. |

Wow, this had "FUNimation" written all over it (not that they can't license it later…). I wonder if either Dimension W ate a decent amount out of its current budget or if they are taking it easy this season, as they have other titles to work on…
However…I can say that I am only partially intrigued about it. Yes, it sounds kind of cool and Iwasaki is providing the score, but the tag team of Igarashi and Enokido is an instant red flag, post-STAR DRIVER. Additionally, I have not been that impressed by the PVs I've seen of it, and it feels somewhat pretentious. At least it's on CR and the production should look pretty on some level… |
