Hmm the PV looks better than I had expected. Decent soundtrack as well. My hopes for the adaptations is slightly better now.

I have heard some great stuff about both the mangaka and this series. heard he loves to build up a generic plot and then turn into into something twisted. accompanied by a great composer and interesting visuals and design..... this may be the spring surprise

Agreed, as I was really concerned about the character designs for the anime. Though, I still find they look a little thin compared to their manga counterparts.
The only thing I'm not liking too much is the anime original familiar they've added. Is it there to provide more comedy? Personally, find the manga pretty funny, and can't see what a fluffy animal will really add to that.

So this is how it would look like, if the biggest chuuni characters actually made their imagination into a complete anime series.
Also the fanservice seems to be adventuring to maleservice territories.
Just...no.

Looks like CR might have gotten Re:Life and Twin Star Exorcists from TV Tokyo, which also explains the "Worldwide except Asia" regions.

Admittedly, I see two shots in there that seem to be putting more focus on male crotch shots than how those scenes came off in the manga, but I'm not sure that qualifies this as a "manservice" anime. There is female fanservice too, more than the guys get, though from what I've read of it there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of fanservice to begin with.

Well yeah, I mostly mentioned that because the direction seems to be going there.
Either ways, that is my smallest problem with it, but maybe there's something enjoyable behind that ridiculously textbook chuuni outside.
