If your gonna watched it subbed, be warned, Kaze messed up again. More details here http://forums.animeuknews.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=16462&start=1080 |

I can live with single-layer blu ray. I can live with 2.0 audio. But why are all the extras missing? What's with the terrible box design with the dumb hashtag on it? I'll be waiting for this to bomb and then pick it up cheap hopefully then. |

You get what you pay for considering the over all cost of the Kill la Kill set is around the £132 mark you know you're not going to get much for £30. |

£60+ for the two sets, isn't really all that cheap. Not to mention, this has been delayed for at least a year by now. |

It's split into part 1 and part 2, part 1 containing the first thirteen episodes, and part 2 containing the rest. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mirai-Nikki-Complete-Collection-Episodes/dp/B012X1YCX4/ http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mirai-Nikki-Complete-Collection-Blu-ray/dp/B01302GZSK |

True, but I feel like considering the delay, Kaze really ought to have done better. As I said at the start, I can live with all the episodes on one disc, and I can live with 2.0 audio rather than 5.1 (although not too pleased by it), but cutting out the rest of the content just really feels like it's not getting the release it deserves. Apparently there are issues with the subtitles as well, which obviously doesn't cut it. But ah well. |

Yeah, but you could easily get the US set for at best £25 which is less than one part, has zero errors and all of the extra features. This kind of thing is why I import almost all of my anime from the US, sometimes it makes more sense to get the UK releases but this is definitely not the case.

My two issues with that is that a) I like to support the UK anime industry, just a few years ago we would be waiting years after the US for releases to come over here, and I'd to see a return to that where Manga UK is the only really viable licensor, and b) isn't the US release Region 1 only? I don't have a dedicated blu ray player currently, just using my PS3/PS4 consoles, which wont play region 1 discs unless I'm mistaken. |

Mirai Nikki came out in 2011. All the hype for it is long gone, plus the one volume is probably gonna be somewhere around £35. And they wonder why UK anime DVD sales aren't great...
I love Mirai Nikki, but I'm not even gonna bother with the dvd release, personally. and if I am, it's gonna be the boxset during end of stock sales. I waited about 5 years just for the release, I can wait longer. |
