Yep i expected to get more Danmachi Content sooner or Later. Hmm there is a high chance this will be followed with a second season announcement. the first season covered 5 volumes and the 10 th volume will soon be out so there is plenty of content to adapt. hell they might even slow down a bit this time and adapt 3 to 4 volumes that are already out.

There are a couple of short stories included in the American release of the fourth novel (one about Bell learning about quests, and another about helping out Miach's Familia), and either of those would make good fodder for a one-shot OVA. In fact, I'd expect it to adapt one of those two.
Even if it does turn out to be an all-new fan service fest, though, I'm all for more DanMachi content. |

Maybe it's just me, but after seeing the anime both the title and now the English synopsis feel out of place. "He wants to pick up girls" doesn't represent Bell at all, and it just makes the series sound dumber than it actually is. If I'm not correct the title wasn't the author's original choice? Danmachi isn't exactly quality literature and of course it has strong harem elements, but I feel it has enough substance in its world and characters that its marketing could go for broader appeal.
That being said, I'm glad we are getting an OVA, since it doesn't seem likely that we will get a second season any time soon. |

He's pretty much pursuing dungeon diving because his grandfather made it out to be a great way to pick up chicks, so the title isn't wholly inaccurate. You're probably right that the synopsis could be better, but that's a job for marketing.

Are you reffering to spoiler[Hestia]? spoiler[If so, then that is mostly correct. Considering that Hestia is the sister of Zeus, who is Bell's "grandfather"; so therefore Hestia is Bell's great grand aunt, no wonder she is called "Oppai Loli"  ]
