Kinda anticipated this...

The third season was kinda meh compared to the past two seasons but who cares. Show's doing damnly great at sales and the fangirls just keeps on buying them. This is definitely the Love Live for the all the ladies.

I feel you bro/sis.
Don't worry. Starmyu's not doing too badly in sales either. We just have to wait and see.

I liked the first two season of UtaPri but I loved Starmyu much more. The third season of UtaPri was awful imo. Only volume 1 of the BD and DVD has been released in Japan for Starmyu. We have to wait.

Wahoo! All aboard the Uta*Pei train!

Also, aren't StarMyu and Uta*Pri different studios and companies entirely? Having one doesn't exclude the other from existing (at some point)? Hopefully we'll have more of both going forward.

Not really surprising imo. They made an announcement about it a few months ago but without a season premiere date. The series sells like hotcakes so it was eventually going to happen.

We knew this was coming, but good to see it coming so soon <3 Since romancing 11 guys wasn't enough, BETTER MAKE IT 18.

And wow, people actually liked Star-Myu? I'll be the first to admit UtaPri s3 wasn't nearly as good as 1 or 2, but Star-Myu was awful in my opinion. I stuck it out and watched the entire thing, but it never really grabbed me like I was hoping it would.

Is it worth watching at all? I was kind of curious, but I haven't been so excited by the look of it to put it on my queue.

For Star-Myu? I didn't care for it. The first 2 episodes were pretty awful and boring, but I decided to give it 3 episodes, and the 3rd episode was a bit better, and at that point I just figured "Whelp, I've come this far, might as well watch the rest". The music was meh. Not that good, but not bad. The art was very pretty. The story was REALLY weak though and painfully predictable. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want a pretty laid back show about bromance.

Yes there are people who enjoy starmyu. The bromance was so much better than no romance with cardboard box girl mc in a stupid suppose to be reverse harem

There's a reason UtaPri sells and Star-Myu doesn't (at least not very well). Fujoshi LIKE cardboard box girl. The entire point of her character is to be a self-insert character. She gets a feature episode with every character, but they can't have her settling on just one since that could ruin the viewer's experience if it's not their preferred type.

Honestly don't know why people are still complaining about plain-Jane-syndrome in otome MC. It's the formula, and it works, so you can't expect it to change.
