Wohoo! Can't wait to see Lime again! She was just so cute in the main shows. I hope she breaks Otaru's back with a bear hug like in the 7th episode of the original SMJ.

That was what nearly almost every Anime looked like in the second half of the 90s. That style appeared so fast and disappeared just as fast. Does it eve have a name, I've always wanted to know.

Tsukasa Kotobuki's character designs have never really been my cup of tea, but I think his weird art style suited SMJ and Cyber Team in Akihabara.

Now to see what the Saber Marionettes will look like in the modern-day era...

The original Saber Marionette J series was amazing. But the OVAs and J to X were pretty meh. They're meh enough that even though I own them, since they came together in the old Bandai DVD box set, I keep them all in a closet instead of on my DVD/BluRay shelf.
I hope this is actually good.

I forgot how ugly looking this particular style of 90's anime was.

Glad to find out Saber Marionette is coming back...though unless J to X gets retconned (which I admit I wouldn't mind) I don't really see how you could make a continuation from that. Unless you were to make it about Faust and the Saber Dolls...

I do not care what it takes... if Lime is present, it HAS to be Hayashibara Megumi as her seiyuu...NOBODY else
"Arigatou! Boku Lime da yo! Kimi wa?"
...one of my favorite Lime lines...so cute!
(Though I will admit to having sampled some of the dub, and I liked Ruby Marlowe/Bridget Hoffman as Cherry, mainly because I have liked Ruby/Bridget ever since I first heard her as Yuuki Miaka in Fushigi Yugi.)

Great news, i liked the original SBJ saga, i think will be an original spin-off since the SMJtoX ending was pretty conclusive with the 3 main heroines.

I remember watching a YT video of an '07 anime con panel (I think it was during the fall) where Sam Vincent said that his character in Saber Marionette J was 1 of his whiniest roles. It doesn't help that Brad Swaile was also in that panel since Sam's character was lusting after Brad's character.

This revival of SMJ has me wondering if Cyber Team in Akihabara will ever get its new show one day...
