Yeeeeeeeees I'm so excited! I can't wait to see the high quality animation of Hibike again. A lot of the shots from the first season were so gorgeous.

I want to watch this series but I'm still not sure. Could someone tell me what its strong and weak points are?

First and foremost, it has an extremely awesome animation, background, sound, everything, it's like watching a very high budget movie, and no drop in 12 episodes, literally. About the show itself, the relationships between characters and their personalities it's the best point, you can see that the most important characters don't always act the same depending on who they're talking to, and it's not just the circumstances that bring about the conflict, characters put themselves into the fray because of their own goals and when it's resolved, no character involved is left aside from having a final reflexion on it, sometimes making them change, often not, but it's still interesting and more often than not you'll get a nice surprise.
Weakness could be that two of the most important side characters are often lef outside the spotlight, one of them particularly. Sometimes the setting (a band) is not that meaningful depending on how you interpret a plot. You may not like so much emotional conflict (like people call it, melodrama).
I really like the show and I found little to no weaknesses in it, it depends on how you see it.

Strengths:
Quality of animation: By far the most impressive work this studio has done. Both background and characters have incredible detail
Detail of Instruments: KyoAni really did their homework. What Girls and Panzer did with tanks, KA does with classical instruments
Characters: They look, act and are treated like actual high school students. The issues they deal with are believable.

I personally think that Kyokai no Kanata and Hyouka can match this series in terms of animation quality. In terms of impressiveness I think Hyouka is just as impressive.

I enjoyed the series quite a bit, and it was definitely a treat from a purely visual perspective. Definitely going to check out the next series.

Like other said, its extremely high quality. Not only in animation but in everything related to the visual, framing and all. The writing is also very good. Simply put, its of high enough quality that it could be about almost any subject and it would be interesting. I personally don't really care about band, but still find it quite enjoyable.
I guess con would be an un-healthy amount of yuri bait, although its not as much a problem since there now an S2 so maybe that'll turn into something substantial. Its also designed in a way that you can ignore it if you really want to, dunno if that's a plus or minus for you.

4th FMP?! I thought you were joking so I did a search and wow! I can't believe I missed such big news!
As for Euphonium, it's a gorgeously animated slice-of-life series with grounded, true to life characters. I'm happy it's getting a second season, but I wouldn't put any hopes on yuri being anything but "baiting". Unless its in the source material, it won't be in the anime.

Going off from what was already mentioned, another strong point of the anime is how it deals with the topic of group dynamics in a team environment. Some people would classify most or all of the conflicts presented in the show as excessively melodramatic, but I usually disagree. I think the characters get conflicted with valid issues that would result from forming part of a competitive band. In fact, in real life, such situations usually turn out a bit less elegant and more petty than how they were presented in the anime, even if they aren't trivial. As a result, I think the show's underage characters are really smart children.
One other thing, the situations are so real that I wouldn't be surprised if the story was based off true life events, and perhaps not coincidentally, the characters are also so real that I wouldn't be surprised if they were based off real people. Many of the characters (just like in real life) are introduced with their own unique quirks but, as the show progresses, they are added so much depth that they are essentially living-breathing-people.
For a weak point I'd say that just for a handful of times does the anime really get melodramatic, namely, almost everything involving the 2nd year girl with the oversized bow up until the last 2 or 3 eps and that time when the main girl Kumiko ran on the streets while crying and yelling. But to offer a comparison, I'd say that overall Naruto is way more melodramatic than Sound! Euphonium, so it's no big deal considering how this show is a SOL.

I won't touch on the stronger aspects of the show, as I can not add anything new to it. And, yes, I enjoyed the series, but I'll just put here what I didn't like about it.
Firstly, I'd say you'd have to be a massive SoL fan to really enjoy the entire first season.
I say this because, while I like my SoL, I didn't really start to enjoy the story of Eupho until the 8th or 9th episode. To me, 2/3 of the series really feels like fluff, there are some nice moments here and there, but it really feels like too much set up.
Which, for some, may not be a negative at all. There are many series where you can tell it's setting things up, but this one just felt different to me.
Another disappointing aspect, for me, is that one of the main characters in Hazuki Katou, didn't get as much development...in one sense. While, yes, the group dynamic and growth of the band is a focus for the series, I thought it was disappointing that the one member of the band, that had little to no experience with an instrument, didn't have a bit more of their learning journey covered.
As far as I can remember, she is the only first year in that situation, where joining the band was the first time she'd be picking up an instrument. Of course, I have no idea how that was handled in the novels, but it still disappointed me.
Lastly, I'll touch on the yuri bait that people mention. Don't know if they is a plus or minus in your eyes, but I will say that there are only a couple of scenes when it's actually "heavy". Most of it can be written off as friend-like, and the 2 characters...don't really become friends until later in the season. So, for a chunk of it, they don't really interact that much, even on a friend-like level.
Hell, I'd say something like Is The Order A Rabbit? has a ton more yuri bait than Eupho.
