By that logic, if I finish Fist of the North Star in one go, will I suddenly buff up and think it's okay beat people until they explode? Will I think it's okay because they're bad? Surely Kenshiro is presenting a valid excuse and I should go for it!
For a self-proclaimed Psychiatrist, she doesn't consider that the basic function of consciousness always shames you IF the thought of finding little girls "sexy" comes by and reminds you of the consequences.

This is the same BS logic used in the west that somehow playing violent video games will turn you into a mass murderer.
The issue is that there will always be enough of the voting base that will believe what is completely unfounded "studies".

Ok, I know this is basically my fault for assuming... but the title seemed really misleading to me. Usually when I see an article saying some kind of scientist or doctor "suggesting" something, that suggestion is based on at the very least *some* kind of study.
But this person is just throwing baseless ideas out there...

There isn't even a study at all here. I could at least see the point in discussing a study. Honestly, I don't see how this is even worth an article.
Lots of people baselessly claim X causes Y all the time. This isn't any different. This might as well be coming from a grumpy parent. The only reason I can maybe see this is important at all is because of the outrage against her baseless claim the article mentions at the end.

I, for one, welcome our new moe overlords.

Also is this really suppose to be sexy?
I just don't see it. Now the pink haired girl in the ad on the left side of my browser, yea sure, she is suppose to be sexy.
Is moe even suppose to be sexy? If you look at sai-moe, the characters that do well are never the sexy types.

She is out of line and needs to apologize and leave such studies to the experts and focus on the deranged people I read about in Japanese publications randomly attacking people for no reason or the kids there that kill "just because they want to know what's like to kill a person". She has a gold mine to work with, but she choose the easiest route and got rightfully slammed for it.

I think Japan is adopting bad ideas from North America, anyone want to bet this is solely to make them look "normal" to other countries in time for the 2020 Olympics?

You'd be amazed how many people are into flat-chested women.

I don't see why she wouldn't be qualified to handle such a study. The problem is that she hasn't done one at all.

They're not moe. They're just drawn that way.

Suggesting a link between 2 things with completely 0 data is always a bad idea.
What the data does usually show is that most people can distinguish between reality and fiction. Fiction usually only causes a temporary change in mood, if even that.

Psychiatrists don't usually do psychological research as they focus on administering medicine. That's a job for academic psychologists.

I just watched Fist Of The North Star - The Movie, last night. Guess I'm going to wake up all buffed up and start blowing people up soon. That bitch is the first one I'm going after though. How retarded of a "psychiatrist" do you have to be to come to that conclusion.
500 years ago people were raping like there was no tomorrow, and they didn't have moe. Explain, madam.

This is just someone shit-stirring. Someone aspiring to be the Japanese Katie Hopkins or Ann Coulter.
