Is this Doraemon a British Shorthair cat?

I have a few questions.
Why Ultraman?
Why do the kids look 10-15 years older than they're supposed to?
But most importantly, why the real cat? Like, what thought process led them to think that was the right way to go?

Ulesss it was authorized by the Doraemon rights holders, this is likely a fan film with what appears to be a British Shorthair as Doraemon.

This live-action film of Doraemon featuring an actual cat may mean that Doraemon's past when he had his cat ears will either be changed or ignored entirely.

And will make pulling items out of his pocket, which most real furry cats don't have, rather tricky.
(Unless, in the new version, he just coughs them up like hairballs.)

This is not a Doraemon movie it's a bootleg movie. C'mon everyone knows that Doraemon is a cartoon. The Chinese are always coming up with the most oddly amusing features. Now is it entertaining?

I can't tell if this is real or not but I'm still looking forward to it.
(Still hopeing for more doraemon parodies in gintama, I could imagine how gintoki would react to this)

This isn't the first time something like this has happened. If I remember correctly, there was a live-action version of the cartoon character Baby Huey that came out on home video in 1999 called "Baby Huey's Easter Adventure." But,in that one, they had a guy in a suit for that one. And we all remember the live-action "Scooby-Doo" movies they did. (Although there are many who wish they were never made in the first place.) Couldn't the Chinese have done a computer generated version of Doraemon instead of using a British shorthair cat? They are capable of it,you know.
Hopefully,Hollywood would do it's own live-action version of "Doraemon" with a CGI version of the cat running around all over the place. I think that would be a fun one. What do you guys think of that? And,as for Exalted Incarnate's comment about Doraemon parodies in "Gintama,"I'd love to see them do a "Scooby-Doo" parody. I think it would be great. What do you think?

Think Ultraman is the key to the whole question: What is Ultraman (Ultramom, actually) doing there, and why is Superman(?) in another poster?
Like that knockoff Chinese amusement park that had Doraemon next to Mickey Mouse, the Chinese aren't really grounded in non-Chinese lore enough to get into details about the particular universes of other beloved pop figures owned by capitalist countries, so long as they can get away with bootlegging them and not having to actually transact the licenses.
Like the Turkish Star Wars, as long as you're making your own bootleg Doraemon from scratch, why not throw in Ultraman, Superman, Mickey Mouse and Goku while you're at it?
The fact that it's coming from the owner of the AliBaba site doesn't exactly dispute the "Bootleg entrepreneur of western goods" theory either.
