An anime about assassins...
Got a weird feeling this might be low budget but guess we'll see. Only 10 episodes too by the looks of it. |

That's like the first sentence of the article. |

Sounds crazy, but I like the premise. Hope we get it.

I saw the PV. Apparently, it's 3D. The plot sounds promising though. |

This is quite the Apple-esque announcement - "we have a new show in the works, and it's available in 4 days from now!"

I agree, the plot does sound interesting. I wish I wasn't so picky, but I'm afraid the animation might hinder my enjoyment of the show. It's funny, I can stand crappy hand drawn cel animation where they take a lot of shortcuts and make mistakes, but computer generated 3D stuff (like what is in the promo you linked) really bothers me. I wonder if it's a generational thing. (I'm long in the tooth.) |

That assassin should get more sleep so he can plan his next attack. Poor guy might hit the wrong target if he doesn't.

Plot really does sound interesting. Unsure if anyone outside of Japan is going to be able to watch this show (legally), but I'd give it a pass if the opportunity is there.
Main reason is the animation. There are times where 3D doesn't bother me at all, but the animation in that PV is just off putting for me. I think that, most of the time, when I dislike the look of 3D is when I find that the movements of characters do not seem natural. Found that to be the case with the PV. |

Something about that premise says to me he'll spend 95% of the show talking to & having sentiment heavy scenes with the victim before deciding what to do with them at the end, probably after a big revelation in the penultimate scene renders everything up to that point a waste of time...Oh no, it's Death Parade!

Five minutes? If they could make it at least Ninja Slayer length, then they could make the story a bit more developed and probably attract more fans.
