We all scream for spoiler[YAOI]ce scream. Let's hope they're not all pretty boys or figments of imagination of a teenage girl and some of them are actually men. I'm so tired of the shoujo will-they-or-won't-they and I can't get enough of josei anything.

I've read the manga and the characters are more shounen fare than anything - they're all full of silly (and hilarious) quirks. There are many typical shounen character types like the two protagonists with opposing personalities who get on each other's nerves but have to work together, the genius loner, the crazy-awesome villain etc. Even the recurring themes (trusting each other and knowing what you want) are shounen themes. I'm not really sure who first called it shoujo, but it's not really a shoujo manga. I wouldn't call Servamp a yaoi bait either - it's full of pretty boys, okay, but actual will-they-or-won't-they scenes are very rare, like in many a sports anime I guess...? Not every anime with an (almost) all-male cast is automatically a yaoi bait 
(BTW, if you're not sure if this is your kind of story, there's always the manga  )
