I think Near is supposed to be female in this adaption, hence why he is being played by a girl.

I like how the title can be misinterpreted as Misa being Light's father with the picture being quite obviously a woman.

Wow, the Death Note franchise is not only still active but it actually gets a live-action show? And of course there is the musical as well. Hmm. It must have a high-powered producer if it can still get so much work after all these years.
Misa's actress is well cast. She isn't blonde, sure, but I reckon she still nails the look. The character of Misa was always less about her appearance and more about being batcrap insane.

Does anyone know how to watch Japanese Dramas outside of Japan?
Anime series get streamed, but what about dramas?
