I'm a sucker for JRPGs, and even I have to say this:
WHY THE HELL DID THAT GUY JUST STAB HER? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
I can also probably forget about localisation, right? Shame. It looked pretty appealing from the graphics/

It seems to be some sort of magic sword that unlocks her powers. Does seem kind of rape-y, though.

Can't be worse than Conception 2.
Haven't played it, but I know what it is thanks to the constant 67% off sales.
