Actually, we never did get the film. They never had a Canadian theater listing up anywhere and my local theater that always gets anime movies didn't have it.

I'm still waiting to snatch up the movie before season 2 premieres. With any luck.

I'd love to read these manga iterations as well, as I've heard they give deeper insight into some of the side characters who were largely neglected in the anime so far.
