Um, isn't 24:00 April 4 in Japan equivalent to 8am PDT on April 4? So it's more than just one hour, it's thirteen hours ahead of the Japanese premiere.

My priority is AX this year but Sakura-Con is certainly on my to-con list down the road...really envy those who get to go there...
Kana Ueda (seiyuu of Rin Tohsaka) will also be there. STILL super jealous...

Actually, this is just the second half of what aired in the fall.

Still, there's a lot counting all the anime.

3 series and a movie is considered "a lot"? It's not even as many episodes as many other series.
The first series, while debatable in it's quality, didn't really cover the story very well, when there are 3 separate story arcs that they tried to merge together.
Fate/Zero is an adaptation of prequel novels that were written for the VN.
This is an adaptation of the second route (as was the previous movie). The upcoming movie(s) will be an adaptation of the third route. Neither of these have been properly adapted before.
All together, including all 3 series and the 1 released movie (but not things like Carnival Phantasm or the Fate/prototype video), the Fate franchise consists of 75 episodes and 1 movie, adding up to approximately 1856 minutes (estimating UBW2 at 12 episodes, the same as F/Z).
By contrast, Fullmetal Alchemist, between the 2 series and 2 movies (but not counting the OAV), comes to 115 episodes, 2 moves, and 2975 minutes (heck, Brotherhood alone is only about 300 minutes less than ALL of Fate).
Or what about the original Sailormoon? That's 200 episodes, and even low-balling them at 20 minutes each, that's 4000 minutes, before adding in the movies, and not counting the specials. And let's not go into shows like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece. Or, better, Doraemon, Sazae-san, etc.
The only difference between the Fate franchise and these other shows, is that, due to both the nature of the story and the nature of the production, it's coming out incrementally, and, therefore, is in the news more often. This isn't "milking" of a series, it's adapting things that have never before been adapted (the movie, while entertaining, did a horrible job explaining the story if you didn't already know it).
I'm sorry if you feel that adapting previously-unadapted parts of a story is "milking" it, but, like Higurashi, you need to know the story of all of the parts to be able to fully understand and enjoy the series. Or are you saying that, like the US release, Higurashi should have stopped with just the first series, leaving everyone hanging as to what the final and "true" ending was? Or should we just skip entire storyarcs in the One Piece anime, because fully adapting the manga is "milking" it?

Hopefully soon after this is over they'll announce the dub version since the dub cast for Fate Zero was great so I gotta wait.
