Lol, super deformed characters?
Be amusing to see Nice in that form. I wonder what the film will be about though.

I wonder if the film will focus on that academy that trains Minimum Holders. The anime pretty much ignored it while in the manga just mentioning them caused Nice to be pissed off

Okay...I wasn't expecting this. Hopefully the film's about the academy.

I'm not sure it's a brand new film. It says a 'film of Hamatora and Re:Hamatora' which could mean a compilation film that glues the two series together. I'd rather see more of the backstory animated like the manga shows but from the way it's worded it just sounds like a cutting and sticking of the two seasons.

Hamatora was an insultingly stupid anime in some of the key aspects. The fact that it got second series last year, and now a film and another anime is disappointing since much better franchises never get finished.
(My issue is that I am not a fan of manga as genre but I have to read some of it because the corresponding anime stops long before full story is told.)

Huh, I enjoyed the first anime for some light entertainment but I'm confused by so much more content being greenlit - has Hamatora really been a successful franchise? I haven't seen that much merchandising from the show...

Hamatora has been pretty darn successful in its goods line, though pretty low to average in blu-rays and DVDs. I actually really like Hamatora, so I'm very happy. ^^ More Chiyu, please!
