No Japanese audio?

Someone be terrified of reverse importation, which is hilarious given who this is...

Huh, haven't heard of this one before, oh, it was only released at the end of April in Japan, that would make sense then. Surprised at how fast it's getting released over here (and good lord, $45 for a single movie? Even for a DVD/BR combo that seems steep), hope that I can find a review of the movie after AX to see if it's worth watching.

We just updated the article's specifications; the Blu-ray Disc release will have English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Thai soundtracks.

Something looks odd about the character designs to me, I think it's the eyes.
I think I'd prefer an oKAmiden movie, but it does look entertaining. The price seems a bit high though :/

This is the type of thing I like to support, so I"ll definitely be pre-ordering. Blueray. Worth it IMO.

Awesome Smile

Great news, if a little pricey, but just what I was hoping to hear after that previous news of the US premiere, and on dual-audio blu-ray, sweet.

Trailer looks great and exciting.

Hopefully this comes out in Australia as well so I can put it on the shelf next to my copy of Mindgame.
Cool

I still cannot understand why Mindgame was never licensed in the States - considering some of the other anime titles that ARE over there.

This is good news though - I certainly want to check this title out. Hopefully it isn't crappy!

if the monsters are great, and the magic is interesting, then the project might be worthy to look at...

They can market Onigamiden as being "from the people who brought you Akira, Spriggan, and Steamboy!"*, so it's not a surprise they picked it up.

I'm glad this is getting a quick release over here. Looking forward to it.

* even though only one of these is worth watching aside from the visuals (they could also add in the second Naruto movie in there too)

braves: Yeah, and they could market Mindgame as "from the animators of The Animatrix".

Nice trailer. Didn't expect a release though. The designs kind of remind me of Takashi Nakamura, (Goldlitan, Tree of Palme, etc..) but he wasn't involved.
