This should at least be good publicity for the light novel & manga here. Free too.

Aw man, I'd totally be up to see this if there was some nice giveaways like a movie program or poster.

As a stand-alone, I don't think this movie will do all that well. If your not already familiar with the Toaru universe, you'll probably spend a lot of time wondering what the hell is going on...and you certainly won't understand the motivations of Stiyl, Kanzaki or Misaka or why the hell they included a twit like Shirai.

Nearly 100 episodes of Index and Railgun (counting the movie) isn't enough?

Yes they need to make a third season of the Index anime there is enough light novel material to make a season three easy!

I could make the same argument about another Funimation title: Sekirei. However, I would say that given Index's sales, we might have a better chance for a 3rd Index season vs. a 3rd Sekirei season.

No it's not, because regardless, the story isn't done yet. I don't want people to just say "well read the mangos!" This anime needs to have a proper ending.

Why would you want a third season of Sekirei? All it was was just a bunch of women with floppy breasts fighting for vague reasons. "That's just what sekirei do! Ugoo" I've seen both seasons and I don't even remember what it was about anymore. I'm not trying to come off as an asshole btw, that's just how I feel.

Ugh. I knew it was a bad idea to get excited seeing "Virginia" in the headline. Both theaters are in VERY Northern VA, which is basically DC. Why can't one be in Central VA near Richmond?

In this case it's based off the light novels that Yen Press are releasing right now, but I get what you mean. If you start watching a franchise, you usually want to consume the rest of that franchise the same way - especially since the anime adaptations are so well done for the most part - with Railgun S being the strongest season of the franchise so far.

Nope.

First season of railgun was meh at best, the second was great but it was just a better retelling of an arc they already showed in the first season of index.

I'd like some actual new shit.
