I just don't understand these morons in charge of this series
is this just another attention ploy?
or do they really think this series standards are that much higher?

Jeez, hate to be working around him right now, I bet the bad blood is just going simmer away in that studio or whoever is in charge of the licenses.
I'm envisioning catty passive aggressive e-mails, and probably the adult Japanese Business equivalent to Mean Girls.

ok so we have a director who can't make an ending to the series that does not undermind the rest of it, or have explain scenes.....
A production Com. that is completely hypocritical and unrealistic for a show that got some of the lowest ratings ever on noitamina
A manga artist who hates what they work on
and a series that has yet to make a point other then japanese manga and anime companies like to troll their fans

I don't really uncerstand all the fuss about Fractale. It's not a great series, it's not bad either, can't we leave it at that ? Of course if Yamamoto wanted it to be the work of his life, he's good for another try, but I'm not even sure why everyone involved's whining about it. His previous series (Kannagi) was far more boring and unimpressive than that.

Can't help but laugh at this whole situation. Oh, the drama.

The manga's artist, Mutsumi Akazaki, had written on her blog earlier that week that she found the work "uninteresting" and added that she wanted to work on a manga that she enjoyed. |
I don't get this part quite well. Is she talking about the anime, manga, or both? Why exactly is a manga artist working on something they don't like? I didn't think the profession was well paid enough to allow that.

I'll give them credit: they've managed to keep people talking about it despite it being one of the biggest bombs in anime history.
Good job Yamakan & Co.!

The pay isn't the issue, sadly. Most of the unknown manga artists won't ever get their own manga published so when someone offers a doujin artist this kind of adaption job, very few turns them down. The pay is always crap, even for the more famous mangaka, so it's usually just a matter of working in the industry that the artist loves.

It pains me to realize that creators are in fact human and in need of food and rent instead of immortal cupboard-dwelling goblins who create manga for luring more children to eat.

Wow consider that the authors and manga artists does this for a full time job, they do need food and a house to keep them going.
