I wonder if the characters' names will be based on Subaru car models. Or better yet, their Mahou Shoujo forms are anthropomorphic Subaru models, let's go with this collaboration all the way!

Their names are pretty simple actually... Hikaru, Nanako, Itsuki, Aoi, and Subaru. With only the last one referencing the car company. They go by their regular names in transformed state as well. Unless they change anything for the TV anime, it doesn't really have much to do with the car company.
I was beginning to wonder what happened to this project. Hope to see more of it soon!

Though the "brooms" they ride on have various Subaru car engine sounds.
