So, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's beat a new One Piece volume and an (almost) new Attack on Titan volume? That's pretty impressive. Always nice to see that my beloved franchise is still popular after so many yaers.

I think more people are buying 5D's for the card than the story. While I love the franchise too it's hard to see more people buying 5D's over Attack on Titan because they want to see Sect duel Aki.

I miss 5D's. Seeing Aki on the cover makes me think stuff.

Seeing Time Killers sell well leaves me hopeful that Komi Naoshi's anthology book might make it to the West too, especially with how well Nisekoi seems to be doing on NYTIMES list.

Almost thought that AoT 1's time had come, but slips in at 9th place.
I'm surprised to see a Yu-Gi-Oh manga at the top, though I have to say that I've no idea how popular that franchise is now.
Happy to see Nisekoi in the top 5.

I'm really happy that Nisekoi's been on the bestseller list ever since Viz released it in print.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D actually beat One Piece people don't have any taste ...
And when are we gonna see english releases of Space Brothers and Silver Spoon manga just to name two mainstream titles in Japan which are good ....
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D being 1 is just a slap the face to me and is saying just go .... yourself with your obscure taste people only want the biggest trash out there because that sells.

Its great to see 5D's on top. The anime was actually pretty damn good if you consider it's a children's show.
Also loving Nisekoi vol. 5 and Monster Musume vol. 4!

Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of "Clear Mind" playing in the background.

I've heard many good things about the Nisekoi manga, I really should check it out sometime. The anime was enjoyable but it definitely felt like the kind of story that works best in print form. But I think Shaft really added their own unique touch to what would have otherwise been a pretty bland adaption. Like they always do.

5d's being 1 is pretty cool. Its my favorite series in the franchise, and an interesting cyberpunk-style series that's actually kid friendly.

Personally, I felt like the anime adapted things really well. Only major difference in the manga so far is that I kind of feel like some of the comedy works better. Have yet to get into new territory just yet. The volume just released covers the last arc of the anime, so I'm really looking forward to getting to parts of the story I'm unfamiliar with.
