Same here. I'm trying to become a LN/anime script writer, and this article just inspired me. I should go and learn Japanese, but I'm bad with languages... it would take me at least about 15 years to be able to write a LN in Japanese.

Coolness. There's nothing better than having a dream come true.

I know this is is a totally different fandom I'm talking about but it reminds me how David Tennant and Peter Capaldi as kids dreamed of playing the Doctor on "Doctor Who" and they ended up playing their dream roles! I love hearing stories like this, it gives me hope that maybe my dream (To travel around the world) will come true someday as well!

I do appreciate that this story was featured as a news item. Superbly inspiring story indeed.
However, I find it ironic that much of the reaction to people who actually do voice their dreams of working in the animation industry in Japan involves shooting them down, telling them it's impossible or ridiculing them for being 'weaboo'. This is of course regardless of how serious they are in terms of putting in the time and effort.
So, sometimes, I myself wonder whether it's better to support someone's dream or just tell them straight up that they're likely going to fail to save them the effort of trying.

Good on her! Is "Seira" her real name, I wonder, or just a wonderful coincidence? Either way, this is a great story. Hopefully Shingo gets a filler episode at some point so she can really make the most of it.

Nice to see a little brightness in the world and someone living their dreams. Good for her. Glad she can do what makes her happy for a living.
