Personally, I don't think this film should come over here. I can really tell that it would be edited BADlY!
The Japanese BGM would go "bye-bye" and be replaced with generic and forgettable BGM. The name changes from the manga and anime would be retained., including the Americanized setting. And the emotional parts in the film would probably be altered because Disney would find them to be "too sad". If only the manga and anime wasn't heavily edited, maybe I would've had hopes of this film coming here. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that Doraemon is finally over here and releasing this film could possibly have success, but all of these stupid edits being done to the manga and anime is just a big disappointment to me. |
