Can't say Busou Renkin would even be an option that would come to mind when thinking about the coolest anime songs, though now that I watched the OP on youtube to refresh my memory it got me a bit pumped up so i guess it fits the criteria somewhat.

Busou Renkin made a huge mistake by not having the OP in the first episode. It would have been such a catch. I agree with Honoo no Sadame, Dragonar's OP, and Utena's OP being on the list. They're all OPs that get you pumped for the series, although I think Dragonar's second OP is way more powerful.

I don't like Black Lagoon's opening song, but Busou Renkin's is indeed fantastic. Actually, there's quite a few really good songs in there.

Agreed, Black Lagoon's OP was always one of my faves, It always got me hype and ready to watch a new ep. Would have liked to see an OP from bleach on the "Top Coolest " list. Great to see Kōga Ninpōchō up there, it was one of the first anime songs I fell in love with. |

I love Black Lagoon's opening, but the engrish makes it a bit meh so i do understand the second place:P
I think Shingeki's ep should be higher... that song set the mood soo good 
Also i am surprised Angela's is soo high  I have to agree its a bad ass song.. it always gets me into the mood :3

Was there some restriction on which songs they could pick? I'd expect to see "Uninstall" from Bokurano and the OPs from both Ghost In The Shell seasons. They certainly rival "Red Fraction" in coolness.
Mell did more anime OPs btw, "Virgin's High" for Sky Girls, and "Rideback" for Rideback. They're both pretty good if you liked "Red Fraction". |

It warms my heart to see RECKLESS FIYAH! right near the top of the list. And heee, King Gainer...probably the only time I will ever buy a show just because of its OP.
 I'm a bit surprised to not see Texhnolyze's opening make an appearance, since that was some sweet Juno Reactor action. "Tank!" will always be my personal winner though.

Wow, seven years later and Black Lagoon still has staying power. Never expected to see it mention in a top list. Way to go. I do like the Buso Renkin song (I need to finish that series) but nothing compares to the madness that is "I have a big gun, took it from the lord..."

I'm surprised that I know quite a few of these! It makes me happy to see Arpeggio's OP on there, it's probably one of my favorites. The opening to Gatchaman Crowds would have also been a nice addition though.
I agree on Attack on Titan's OP as well as Evangelion. I've never been find of Tank though... I think my favorite opening might be the opening from Angel Beats though. I don't know if it would be considered "cool" but it's an awesome song. No Game, No Life's OP is also a nice choice. |

Oh wow, completely agree with the tied #1 place, but not with any of the other songs on there. Maybe Basilisk if it was higher. Busou Renkin FTW, such a great song, full of high spirits.
