Pssh, Aniplex's release of the AnoHana movie actually costs most than NIS America's release of the entire TV series.

$70 for a sub-only re-release of two recap movies? Loooool.
And I guess I can assume at this point that we're not seeing any sane re-release of Durarara!! either. You stay classy AoA. |

Part of me wishes they didn't go to the trouble of dubbing recap movies, but at least this guarantees a Rebellion dub.

Well, if you're got a region-free bluray player, you can import Anime Limited's bluray set for about half of what AoA's bluray costs. AND because they had to fix some subtitle errors, they're actually going back and adding a subtitle track for signs and on-screen text, which actually makes their release *better* than AoA's. |

Heh, that might be something to keep in mind. I wasn't a super-fan of the series, but I enjoyed it well enough to consider picking it up at a discounted price point. Which we won't see in these parts, obviously.

Whoa! I was hoping the Madoka Magica movies were getting dubbed, but I never actually saw it coming! I wonder if the 3rd movie will get a dub, too.
I haven't seen Anohana yet. Is it good? |

I got the Rebellion release. I'm a little bummed that they didn't dub it from the outset, but am VERY happy that the Madoka title is doing well enough to justify a dub re-release for the first two (and hopefully third) movies. I've got nothing against subtitles, but I actually really enjoyed the dub for the series. I hope they stick to the same cast.

Don't care for the dubs, but will definitely be picking up the LE sets of the Madoka movies, or well, if they decide to go with flimsy "boxes" for these releases as well i'm not too sure. The Anohana set looks really nice though, i'll definitely get that!
The DVD-only Silver Spoon set though... NO thanks. It's making me anything but happy seeing a company releasing DVD-only sets of titles in 2014, especially new ones. It's quite funny to see AoA release the TTGL movies now, with the Anime Limited Ultimate Edition of TTGL being released in three months or so. |

One of the worst dubs in terms of acting ability makes its way to the movies. Awesome. Not like the films are reasonably priced anyway. I really wish people would stop supporting this company's overpriced tactics

Well, asides from a mediocre dub and high price tags I'm glad the Madoka movies are getting released! I hope this means we can expect a slightly better blu-ray release for the UK like the complete series box set? (that would be wonderful *-*)
