I find it funny how some guy on another forum kept trying to insist to me that mecha is a dying genre when it looks like anything but.

I don't know. This looks to me like the last gasping breaths of a dying genre to me when the producers want the fans to collabourate on a story. This has all the makings of massive organ failure written all over it. Wink

I scanned the rules and I couldn't find anything that said you had to live in Japan--just that the entry had to be in Japanese.

We got Gundam Build Fighters and Valvrave S2 last season.
This season we got Buddy Complex and Nobunaga the Fool (and Build Fighters).
Next season we get Break Blade TV version, Captain Earth, Fuun Ishin Dai Shogun, Kenzen Robo Daimidaler, M3 ~Sono Kuroki Hagane~ and Knights of Sidonia.
We're waiting for announcements for Gundam: The Origin, Gundam-san and G-Reko.

Mecha is not dying.

I'd be happy if i could jump in and poll too. I don't have smart phone, so i don't think i'll be able to vote for anything cool. Sad
