Appologies if this is covered somewhere more appropriate, didn't see anything specific in the stickeys or basic guides...
While browsing I've discovered instances of official sites that are no longer operating (e.g. everything related to Green Bunny, having folded months ago and taking their main and affiliated sites with them.) If this is an item that we can edit, should we delete (or report), or should they be let be for historical purposes, i.e. for plugging into archive.org or somesuch? -K |

Personally if I find a dead link I just report it as an error.

Submit an error report. We'll set the info to "redeemed"

Begging your pardon, but what does that mean? |

In most cases, when you notice an information once existed in the Encyclopedia suddenly disappears, they were not deleted but rather hidden. One of the hidden statuses is "redeemed," which means the information was correct but is now either replaced by a better / more complete information (a better picture, plot summary, or the exact date of the beginning and the end of vintage rather than just year and month) or simply exired (often happens when the official website overhauled and changed directory structure). An information marked as "redeemed" is still credited to the submitter. |
