that was really quick, this may not be, but to me it seems like this is the shortest time in which a series has premiered in Japan (April), and then brought to the states, at only a seven month time span. I'll definitely be getting the LE box, as with a number of the recent series with a box that has "extras," most of the stuff is really realy nice.

LOL! well said king_micah!
I too am impressed at how quickly this will be released. It would be interesting to make, in the Encyclopedia, a list of the delay between the Japanese and US releases for each anime.

A list of the delay between licensing and release could show some companies that they're not very fast.
Well, I say that, but I prefer waiting longer for a better result.

A super fast one and a super slow one this week. Pretear must be two years old now and it's finally been licensed.

I believe the Nadesico movie has the longest lead time currently. I'm really looking forward to all the pissed off fans when they finally put that out after making people wait a really long time to watch a totally crappy movie.

Pretear was announced at AX 2002, so not quite two years... and before people start complaining about release times, ADV is not the worst of the bunch. Right Stuf still hasn't released any of Comic Party, and where is Marmalade Boy from Tokyo Pop?
I still haven't seen the Nadesico movie, but I haven't been sitting on pins and needles waiting to see it either.

Don't they have the Gekiganger 3 OVA? It came out before the movie, I think.
What is also bad is GXP, it got bought last year, and I doubt it will comeout for about a year.

Don't know if they have the licence or not, but I doubt it will be released unless it's an extra on the movie DVD.
