I'm very happy for our friends across the pond! Now I just hope Sentai hurries up and picks up the rest of the series for local release here in the States!

I'll pass on Princess no Rondo, but I'll pick up the other two eventually.

Seeing how this is MVM, it's likely to be DVD only, with the standard barebones treatment . If it's on BD and barebones there's a small chance I might get it, but only if there's a chance of MVM getting the 4th & final season.

..........Iiiinteresting!
The thing I draw most from your post mdo7 is that with the exception of Ikki Tousen, everything on MVM's license sheet is a Sentai Filmworks title. You've given me hope that this is a joint licensing agreement and eventually I'll be able to purchase a release of Zero no Tsukaima here in the states! Thank you, I'll be off in my happy little delusion now! |

We only report news on the U.S. site for foreign country pick ups if they are in English and haven't been released in North America. All the other licenses have gotten state-side releases. |

Oh, OK. But still it may be a good idea to include the info from Japanator, I don't know how many people on ANN (even from the UK) go to Japanator and find out about the info. |

Eh the anime deviates to much to hold my interest into season 4, for God's sake the anime doesn't even have Saito's brother, the real familiar for the 4th void mage, and the sacrificial gandalf in it. Personally Zeros familiar is behind only Rosario Vamp for me for shows that really need a flat out reboot.

Good luck getting that, with the author passed.

Season 4 was likely meant to be in case the author died...Remember he WAS heavily involved in the 4th season....What sucks is the LN will never be finished and we lost a pretty damn great author |

Actually the author being dead is irrelevant. He did finish although hurriedly the light novels. So they can easily reboot the series, and it honestly, I don't mean this in a negative way, could be easier. All too often even in a decent adaptation of a work you have an original creator complain or butt heads with the studio. I know he worked on part on season 4, but by that point the show had just deviated way too much to be salvaged even with his involvement. Plus season 4 itself, was only true to the LNs for about the first half of the season, only it split off and went the original route. |

The last two novels were never released. To the best of my knowledge, Yamaguchi-sensei never wrote the last volume, but the penultimate one should exist in draft form.
