I thought Wandering Son was released a while ago, or did I get mine ridiculously early?

I've Only gotten four volumes of Wandering Son so far. Volume 5 coming out now sounds about right.

I received my copy of Wandering Son over three weeks ago. I guess Amazon got real careless this time.

Yes, it's a bit more difficult to follow Fantagraphics' releases because Fantagraphics does release its books before it releases them on Amazon, but its website doesn't list exact release dates the way other publishers (Dark Horse, Digital Manga), who do the same thing, do. So usually I wait until I notice a Twitter post from Fantagraphics saying the book is shipping or until I see it shipping on Amazon, and that's when I add it to these articles. It's usually the case that the volume has shipped through other retailers (or even through Amazon) well before the release date that Amazon lists for it.

As expected, I was able to pick up Wandering Son volume 5 at the comic shop today. What was interesting is that when it was solicited, the book wasn't due until November 27th. Also they solicited volume 6 in the Previews that came out today.
This is rather unusual for Fantagraphics, usually they are late, seldom early. I suspect the title is doing well for them and they might be issuing them faster.
