I've been trying to respond to one of your Staff Openings, but every time I try to send my credentials the email keeps bouncing back. I've tried doing this with three different emails on three different devices, but each time my mail refuses to send. Is there something going on with your email?

I was trying to send it to zac [at] animenewsnetwork.com just as the posting said to, but it kept bouncing back. I then retried, this time also CC'ing it to editors [at] animenewsnetwork.com, but again both were returned to me with that DAEMONMAILER (or however it's spelled) saying that it couldn't be sent to either of the emails. |

Just a wild guess: did you replace "_[at]_" with "@" before sending the email? |

Of course I did! I just typed it out here just in case there was a forum rule about posting email addresses (even though they're the ANN's). |

Could you paste the exact message you received from MAILERDAEMON ?

This was sent via my website's email, the third one I tried using. Like I said, I used three different devices to try and send it (MacBook Pro, iPhone 4S, iPad 2), and each time it bounced back with this message. Here's how it appeared:

It seems that you have an attachment in the e-mail that ANN's mail provider (Google Apps) doesn't like.
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6590 Do you have something attached to the e-mail ? If so, try sending the e-mail without the attachment, and a link to the attachment on a file hosting service. -t |

I have two attachments, but they're my resume and cover letter. If I sent the email without those, then people may think it's a waste of time. Initially they were .pages documents, but I just converted them to .docx and sent them along. So far, nothing's been bounced back.

1 - There's a problem with Apple Mavericks and Gmail http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/VXFPW-
2 - Never send pages as a attachment anyways, there is a workaround to read them on non-Apple hardware, but chances are the person you are sending the file to won't know how to open it. |

Yeah, I finally figured out how to convert the file to a .doc. Since the Pages update I was having a hard time trying to find the new convert. I think all's well now, since I was able to make my resume and cover letter into a .doc.
