Interesting that this is based on a manga from the late 80's. How often do they make films based on such old material?

That's nice Shueisha, buthow about an anime for Ao Haru Ride or Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji? Confused

IMHO the target audience of live-action Hot Road is very different from contemporary readers of Ao Haru Ride or Ōkami Shōjo to Kuro Ōji; more likely to attract their moms' attention, who grew up in the golden age of shōjo manga in mid-1980s.
